Brazil at Odds With WHO and CDC on Zika-Microcephaly Link

Brazil’s Minister of Public Health Marcelo Castro, MD confirmed that the epidemic of microcephaly cases in his country during the past year are due to the Zika virus being transmitted by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. In an interview with the Associated Press on Feb. 12, 2016, Minister Castro said,

We are absolutely sure of the causal relationship between microcephaly and Zika. It has nothing to do with the environment, nothing to do with race, nothing to do with gender.1

Dr. Castro’s conclusion appears to conflict with data released by the Brazilian government on Feb. 12 citing that of the 5,079 “suspected cases” of microcephaly reported since October 2015, 462 of the cases have been confirmed as microcephaly and 765 have been determined to have been misdiagnosed and were not, in fact, microcephaly.1

Of the 462 confirmed cases, 41 have been linked to Zika—not necessarily caused by Zika but linked.1 In other words, there is a correlation between the occurrence of the microcephaly and the presence of the Zika virus. As public health officials remind the public all the time, correlation is not proof of causation.

The conclusion by Dr. Castro, a trained psychiatrist, also clearly conflicts with the Feb. 12 situation report by the World Health Organization (WHO) stating,

No scientific evidence to date confirms a link between Zika virus and microcephaly…2

Dr. Castro’s conclusion is also at odds with the position of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). According to the CDC:

Additional studies are needed to determine the degree to which Zika might be linked with microcephaly. More lab testing and other studies are planned to learn more about the risks of Zika virus infection during pregnancy.3

On Feb. 11, CDC director Thomas Frieden, MD testified before the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee. Dr. Frieden spoke of the two cases in which the CDC was able to “identify the genetic material of the Zika virus in the brain tissues of the two infants who died of microcephaly.” He pointed to these two cases as being the “strongest evidence to date that Zika is the cause of microcephaly.”4

Note that’s two cases out of the 5,079 “suspected cases” since October and, even in those two cases, it has not been established that the babies developed microcephaly as a result of the Zika virus. This is the basis for Dr. Castro’s conclusion, and it is the basis of the U.S. government’s rationale for spending $1.8 billion.

Think about it. There is no science involved here, only an effort to try and force a square peg into a round hole. Then there’s the bucketful of money at stake for the CDC.

Dr. Frieden is lobbying Congress to approve the $1.8 billion in emergency funds proposed by the U.S. government on Feb. 85 to help fight the Zika virus. Of that amount, Dr. Frieden said the CDC would receive $828 million4 5 to understand the “clinical and epidemiological patterns to make [the causal connection between Zika and microcephaly] definitive.”4

That’s $828 million in supplemental funds for an agency with an annual budget of about $7 billion.6 That’s a 12% budget increase. Not a bad supplement, and certainly one an agency would have incentive to lobby for—regardless of its merits.

On Feb. 11, Dr. Castro signed an agreement with the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston to jointly develop a vaccine against Zika with the Evandro Chagas Institute in Belem, Brazil. The Brazilian government, which will invest $1.9 million (versus $1.8 billion by the U.S.) in the research, will also be partnering with the CDC on a Zika vaccine. Additionally, the Brazilian government is considering working  on Zika with pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline plc (GSK) of the United Kingdom.7

The Brazilian government already has a working relationship on vaccines with GSK. Brazil’s Butantan Institute, a major biomedical research center affiliated with the Brazilian Ministry of Public Health, has a technology transfer agreement with the British firm on production of the diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (Tdap) vaccine.8

If it has nothing to do with the environment that why have the government stopped spraying larvicide?

Brazilian state suspends larvicide used to combat Zika virus
    Published February 14, 2016

The Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul suspended the use of the larvicide Pyriproxyfen, used to treat water to combat the spread of the mosquito carrying the Zika virus, the regional government said Sunday.

In a communique, the state government said that “the suspension was communicated to the 19 Regional Health Coordinating Authorities, which in turn will inform the respective Municipal Monitoring services” in all cities in the state.

The measure was taken after doctors with the Argentina-based Physicians in the Crop-Sprayed Towns organization and the Brazilian Collective Health Association, or Abrasco, questioned whether the larvicide might be linked with microcephaly.

To date, Brazilian scientists had associated the increase in microcephaly cases with Zika, which – like dengue and Chikungunya – is transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito.

But on Sunday, Rio Grande do Sul Health Secretary Joao Gabbardo said that, despite the fact that a relationship between the larvicide and microcephaly has not been proven, the “suspicion” that there may be a linkage had led the organizations to decide to “suspend” the use of the chemical.

“We cannot run that risk,” Gabbardo said.

In response, Health Minister Marcelo Castro said that the larvicide supplied by his ministry presents no danger to the public.

“That is a rumor lacking logic and sense. It has no basis. (The larvicide) is approved by (the National Sanitary Monitoring Agency) and is used worldwide. Pyriproxyfen is recognized by all regulatory agencies in the whole world,” Castro told reporters in the northeastern city of Salvador.

In a statement, Sumitomo Chemical, the manufacturer of the larvicide, said that “there is no scientific basis for such a claim,” adding that the product has been approved by the World Health Organization since 2004 and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency since 2001. EFE

    This speaks volumes!

This whole zika thing has been blown way out of proportion. It is so obvious that all kinds of people are coming out of the woodwork putting their 2 cents in trying to get money from agencies and governments because people are convinced they should be AFRAID of this virus.

It is interesting that they are suspending the use of the larvicide in the drinking water.

And as long as the lame-stream media continues to tell of this over and over and over and over – just like 9/11 and the Sandy Hook hoax the sheeple will continue to believe such baloney.

Pyroproxyfen is manufactured by Sumitomo Chemical, a Japanese subsidiary of Monsanto, and has been used in a state-controlled program to eradicate mosquitoes.

This chemical inhibits growth in mosquito larvae, thereby producing malformations that disable and/or kill the mosquitoes. According to “Physicians in the Crop-Sprayed Towns,” it’s also an endocrine disruptor and teratogenic, meaning it causes birth defects. The organization also points out that Zika virus has never been associated with birth defects previously, even in areas where 75 percent of the population has been infected. According to the report:

“Malformations detected in thousands of children from pregnant women living in areas where the Brazilian state added Pyroproxyfen to drinking water are not a coincidence, even though the Ministry of Health places a direct blame on the Zika virus for this damage.”

The MSDS for Pryiproxyfen states “No Data Available” for the following categories:
    Germ cell mutagenicity
    Reproductive toxicity
Specific target organ toxicity, single or repeat exposure
    Persistence and degradability
    Bioaccumulative potential

So, with No Data Available, how on earth can they assert that a chemical that is “extremely toxic to aquatic life” isn’t causing harm to women and their fetuses, who may be drinking water and eating fish that have been contaminated?

Here are 3 links to independent research writer, Yoichi Shimatsu, a science writer based in Hong Kong. I have followed his work on Ebola and now the zika virus. I have researched much of what he alludes to, in medical journals and darn it if he isn’t on to something here. His references check out in those journals.

I urge everyone here to read and study what he says and pass it on. It is another attempt by the powers that be to force mass vaccination programs under fraudulent “science and medicine”.

We Petition The Obama Administration To Investigate the Larvicide Manufactured By Sumitomo, Not Zika Virus, True Cause of Brazil’s Microcephaly Outbreak
We Believe this is the Brazilian Government and Sumitomo Chemical’s issue and not the US Taxpayers. So before your office allocates $1.8 Billion for “Zika Research & Vaccines”, we should investigate the real cause associated with the innocent children and their horrendous birth defects caused by the Brazilian government adding “Pyriproxyfen” to its drinking water.

We Must focus on the victims in FLINT MICHIGAN and other cities in the US by helping them to relocate, get medical assistance for lead poisoning, and improve and replace their lead pipe infrastructure.

We Need To Give the $1.8 Billion to the Flint Michigan victims in addition to the $500K.

Mandatory Vaccination Program of Pregnant Women Took Effect 2015

Also, in October 2014 the Brazilian government mandated that all pregnant women must receive the pertussis-containing Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) vaccine, effective as of 2015.

In the summer of 2015, Dr. Kathryn Edwards, director of the Vanderbilt Vaccine Research Program, received a $307,000 grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to study the immune responses of pregnant women receiving Tdap, the vaccine in question.37 Her conclusions remain to be seen.

Are Genetically Engineered Mosquitoes Linked to Zika Infection?

Interestingly enough, the Gates Foundation has also financed the development of genetically-engineered (GE) mosquitoes,44 designed by a biotech company called Oxitec to combat dengue fever and Zika — a project some suspect may have somehow backfired, resulting in a Zika outbreak instead. What strikes me is that all the media still link the microcephaly of newborn babies in Brazil to Zika, while nobody seems to want to realize or point to the fact that the mothers were injected, during pregnancy, with a Tdap-vaccine, or maybe even the very dangerous TDwP-vaccine (against Tetanus, Diphteria and Pertussis).

Like the great bird flu pandemic(that never was) countries will now buy stock piles of the soon-to-be zika vaccine to provide to the frightened masses, creating guaranteed customers for the vaccine makers….and distract anyone from looking elsewhere. The WHO and CDC members who just happen to have financial interests in the vaccine companies will make a tidy profit.

This drives me crazy. My blog “What’s really causing microcephaly in Brazil? It might not be the Zika virus after all” – See more at: http://www.drpaulapproved.com/dr-pauls-blog/whats-really-causing-microcephaly-in-brazil-it-might-not-be-the-zika-virus-after-all#sthash.51uXSO3e.dpuf

points out that it very well might be the project to immunize with the MMR that occured in Brazil in late 2014 and throughout most of 2015 in many parts of Brazil, that may have caused some cases of congenital rubella syndrome (CRS) with associated microcephaly. Of course this is a therory – but one that the CDC teams need to look at. I hope they don’t waste the opportunity to do so this next week as they fan out across Brazil getting detailed histories. Omitting the question of what vaccines each mother got the prior year would be a mistake of epic proportions and could only mean the CDC does not want to know the real cause or is afraid to find out that their beloved MMR might be the problem.

The Rockefeller Foundation paid for the development of the zika virus in 1947, and holds the patent to it. One wonders if the -alleged- recent appearance of zika is related to the announcement of almost two years ago by William Gates of Microsoft. Responding to the NewWorld Order concept that the earth is overpopulated, and the population should be reduced, Gates responded that vaccination could be used to reduce the population. Announced a few days ago, Obama plans to spend over one billion dollars to invent a “vaccination” to prevent “zika”, and Brazil plans to spend +1 million. Considering that “vaccination” does not work and has never worked, we can expect an injection that assists zika to infect and kill humans, in support of the Rockefeller-Gates-New World Order plan to remove 2/3 of the current population of the earth. zika with microcephaly and many Brazilians are not worried bout it up because the government of President Dilma wants to use the scapegoat to try to divert attention of the Brazilian public with concern zika, but many Brazilians already agreed to it. His government is Involved in Several scandals of corruption with Several members of his party and imprisoned allies. zika with microcephaly only finds only place in Pernambuco state in northeastern Brazil and the region in other states of Brazil is not is almost zero. test only met zika only 16 babies over 4000 cases. in colombia there more cases of zika than in Brazil are more 5000 and has zero cases zika in babies with microcephaly. summary zika is fraud.
