CDC Wants to Expand Power to Eliminate Measles | Barbara Loe Fisher

I remember the day in 2007, when I was standing in front of a Maryland country courthouse videotaping interviews with mothers and fathers lined up with children, who had been thrown out of school for failing to show proof they had gotten chickenpox and hepatitis B shots. State public health officials were threatening the parents with fines and jail time and suddenly, as we were talking, men in uniforms with guns and dogs emerged from the courthouse and headed toward us. In the pit of my stomach was the sickening feeling that people in countries throughout history have felt when the exercise of freedom of thought, speech and conscience is met with a demonstration of police power wielded by agents of the State.

No! Leave the power to the individual states! Health profiling is a violation of my rights! Legal kidnapping? I don’t think so! I will be contacting my legislators!

I think you must have the hardest/scariest job in the world…someone sent a really nasty post via facebook on how horrible and ignorant anti-vaxxers are and I commented back and I literally felt like I was being attacked and was scared for my life(if they lived close). If they only knew they were the ignorant people who have read nothing but gov’t propaganda about vaccines

Big Pharma has been protected by our corrupt Congress since 1986 against all lawsuits even in the case of death resulting from vaccines. Unless this law is overturned, things will only get worse.

Please google “Repeal Immunity for Drug Companies Against Vaccine Injuries” and please sign the petition on moveon to overturn this law.

    Thank you.

The law enforcement have been working outside of the constitution for a long time. We allow it because we have been conditioned to follow and not question. Little by little, brick by brick our liberties are being taken away.
There is more at stake than vaccinations

The government wants to control every aspect of our lives.
We cannot allow this complacency any more. Get involved,
Turn off your TV and let your voice be heard.

Do it for the children of your children,it is our job to help secure their future.

I don’t think any child that hasn’t been vaccinated should be in Public schools. I agree that parents have the right to not vaccinate their child, but those parents should have to keep their children isolated and if their children endangers a child that CAN’T be vaccinated…due to a medical reason…they should be liable to be sued.

Herd immunity is meant to protect all. My grandmother and several cousins died of Diphtheria. Thank science for saving millions of lives.

I get where you are coming from. I am sorry you family had such a tragedy. Are you aware that encephalitis is listed as a side effect from vaccination? So you are ok to put everyone at a chance of serious brain injury, but not ok with a remote chance that some unnamed strawman might get sick from another who most likely is not carrying the suspected disease in which there is a vaccine for? Surprisingly, most people that aren’t vaccinated aren’t carrying the disease. I’m a little confused and hurt by where you are going with your logic. My child was harmed and endangered by vaccines. Seriously, had seizures and regressed within 24 hours of vaccination. I am sure you are sorry too, but would you tell me I should have to sacrifice my kid for your cause? Would you kill my child to do what you are in favor of just to maybe protect another child who you don’t even know is susceptible? And since not everyone is tested for their immunity, how do you know that the person you would have vaccinate doesn’t have a immune condition themselves that is unrecognized? Oh, PS, because this subject is so highly polarized, doctors are less likely to save my kid from additional harm from vaccination and will push it at all cost.

There are cases upon cases of hurt children and adults from vaccines. However, we are not allowed to sue anyone, seems kind of unfair with the double standard you are pushing, don’t you think? And not only that, I received my second MMR vaccine and I developed measles from the vaccine. Yes, it is a ‘side effect’ listed in the pamphlets. A person can be vaccinated and shed the virus too.

We all want everyone to be responsible for us, but if we want any freedom at all, it requires personal responsibility. Instead of blaming everyone and putting your health as my responsibility, you should take preventive measures of your own. If you believe vaccines help, vaccinate. If someone chooses not to or can’t be vaccinated, they are more than welcome to use other methods to protect themselves. If they fail to do so, it is no one else’s fault if they get sick in the normal scheme of things.

On the bright side are other things we can do to minimize the spread of disease such as: investing in antibacterial/antiviral materials, masks, gloves, good hygiene, use of sick days, home visits from doctors vs in an office, development of newer ventilation systems in schools, planes, homes and public places that stop or greatly reduce the spread of germs, etc. We have a lot of technology today and can expand on this, which does not require the expansion of harm to one subgroup of people (in which you are in favor of).

I encourage you to read scientific information on the failure of vaccines to vaccinate. If scienfic findings had been applied to Mr. Edward Jenner´s “cow pox” experimentations, vaccination would not have been continued. Over 200 years ago, the organization of Enclish Physicians notified Jenner that his “cow pox” vaccinations did not prevent smallpox and was worthless. The concept of “heard immunity” is an interesting concept, But when the “scientific method” is applied to vaccination, there is no such thing as heard immunity. Heard immunity is gained when each member of the heard has gained immunity through the body´s natural, immune process. All else if simply creating profits via the fraudulent use of fantasy.

It is ironic your posted name is Susan Humphrey because you need to read Dr. Suzanne Humphries’ book, “Dissolving Illusions”. In it. Dr Humphries documents unquestionable proof, childhood diseases are/were the result of severe nutritional deficiencies, filthy over-crowded living quarters, polluted water intake and other unhygienic practices. Even the governments’ own records in many countries proved this to be true along with the fact, the diseases already were in great decline BEFORE the use of vaccinations.
It wasn’t science as you say, that changed conditions, it was better living conditions, better nutrition and cleaner water. Again, you need to read for yourself Dr. Humphries book.
